Matchupichu

When I was 16 I knew very little. Ten years later I could say that I 'know' even less. Reality is constantly changing, constantly evolving. There are so few certaintys in life, and the longer we live, the more we may experience this as truth. When I was 16 I meet a good friend, a mountain of a man named Juan. We called him Juanito, Little John. He nicknamed me Matchupichu, after the real Machu Picchu. Throughout the years this nickname has helped me to trigger my own internal strength when I needed it most. It has been a constant reminder of the greatness that is and has been in the world all around us. Juan helped to teach me that strength and wisdom are all around us all the time. All we have to do is embrace them as our own. Tá Mé Anseo.
Tá Mé Anseo - I am here....
Tá Mé Anseo is my starting point. It is an Irish phrase which means, simply, I Am Here. It is a simple thought, producing a simple, attentive and conscious state of mind when fully employed. It is a wonderful starting point for whatever you are about to do. It is about bringing your attention into the present moment. It is about living in the now. Tá Mé Anseo. An Bhfuil Tú Ansin? This means 'Are You There?' If not, where are you? Ask yourself.
Céad Míle Fáilte means A Hundred Thousand Welcomes and is a well known slogan for us Irish. You are very very welcome to this blog.
My name is Matthew Connolly
